Things I want in my apartment that I will never have because of this fucked up economy:
- A SMEG butter yellow coffee machine.
I have lived and worked with a Breville coffee machine most of my home and work life, I want something new and different. While I know that it would be good to stick with what I know and what's comfortable, I want to branch out, plus, it has a very cute design that fits what I'm looking for. - Dirty light pink walls.
Ok, this either has to be in my bedroom or in my bathroom. Why you may ask, because it's my more private space. I understand that not everyone want to get lit in a pink living room, the losers. - A turntable.
I have been collecting vinyls for about 2 years now. Unfortunately my collection is still quiet small but that is only due to that fact that they are ridiculously expensive. However, by the time I even get my own place my collection will have grown enough to have a whole shelf underneath what will be my biggest adult purchase beside the home itself, an audio technica. It will be my start, but from there I will go better. - A shit tone of lamps.
What kind, I don't know yet. Definitely a big one that leans over, I could put it over my couch. But the main part is having a tone of low lighting. I loathe the big bright "fuck you" lights that sit in your ceiling. Give me 150 lamps and candles, I will be set for life will my satanic summoning lighting. - Maroon drapes.
I've always wanted to add a touch of sexy to my room or in this case, my home. Specifically, I want lace drapes, I think they add an extra level of sultriness and they looking bomb as fuck. - Framed film.
I love photographs, especially the ones I take of my friends. A year ago I started getting into film photography rather than just digital photography and I love it. I particularly do colour film but sometimes I dabble in black n white, and when I do it's always photos of my friends. I would like to put theses on the walls of my home in frames to surround myself with the people that make me happy everyday even if they aren't physically with me. Yuck, sappy. - A Yamaha upright piano.
I took piano lessons for 8 years of my childhood and even though I dreaded my teacher, I retained skills that I'm grateful for. I grew up always having an upright piano in the house and I think it would feel weird to not have one that I could play whenever I wanted. I've never owned a Yamaha but they are beautiful pianos that I have played at recitals, I would love one for myself. - Tiffany Extendible Sofa.
Look it up. This is a dream for me, I honestly wouldn't need a bed if I had this couch. The green version works for me because if I had a white couch it would be stained within the hour of me buying it. - Red tiled bathroom walls.
Tile is chic, I love a good tiled bathroom. Especially because I can't stand a boring bathroom, girls spend lots of time in the bathroom, I need it to be a cunty hangout place. It can't just be for shitting your ass out, it also for shape changing into a bad bitch. - A bar.
Ya girl can't call her place a home if she doesn't have her own bar. Even if it's just a cart I would be happy. I love to make cocktails, especially espresso martinis so I would need a home bar. Wouldn't be able to live without it. - My Snoopy cookie jar.
No I would not fill this jar with cookies, I'm not a child. It would be filled with Fruit Bursts. If you don't know what those are look them up, they are one of my favourite childhood lollies. besides Pineapple Lumps. You are not allowed to judge me. It's either that or mints in the jar, or maybe cig packets, depends on how I'm feeling. - Plants.
You can't have your own little ecosystem without plants, they bring lush green life to any room. Plus I've gotten way better at caring for plants and I don't kill them like I used to.
- Pottery Dishes.
I absolutely adore pottery, everything about it I love. If I could I would take classes every week and create as many things as I could. Pottery would be my main dish-wear and they would be mix match style, not all in one design. Cause you gotta have a little fun with it now don't you.
I know there is more stuff, but that's all I could think of this morning. Now I need to do my laundry and change the sheets which I have been ignoring like it's the plague. Maybe I'll treat myself to dinner since doing daily chores definitely requires a reward. Yes, I'll do that.
